Dr. Daniel McKorley, founder of the McDan Group of Companies, has extended an offer of employment to street hawkers in Accra, prioritizing sustainable livelihoods over monetary handouts.

The prominent entrepreneur, known as McDan, made this proposal in response to hawkers approaching his car for money in a video circulating on social media.

A philanthropist with a history of supporting education and vocational training for thousands of underprivileged youth across Ghana, McDan emphasized his commitment to creating lasting opportunities.

“Come, I’ll give you jobs. The last time, I arranged for you to learn skills, but only two people stayed. Soon, I’ll stop giving you money. I want all of you off the streets. Visit my office next week,” he urged the hawkers.
